Haven't done a run cycle in quite a while, so here's some practice! This rig is called "Goon" and he was made by Sean Burgoon (www.seanburgoon.com). It came with my "How to Cheat in Maya 2010" book. *cheat*

Chimps in Space

Some of my animation from the feature film "Space Chimps". I loved working on this movie! Not only because of the awesome crew, but also the amount of creative freedom we had. It was a very fun time.

High Noon

This is the final project I completed at Vancouver Film School in 2005. Every aspect of this was done by me (except the audio). When I graduated I was so sick of this I could barely stand to watch it. After about a year I finally warmed up to it, even though there are still things I would change. Overall not bad for my first adventure into animation.

Hero of the Rails

SO here's a bit of animation I did for one of the new 'Thomas and friends' DVDs. If you're not familiar with Thomas, he's been around for a long while but only last year made the jump to animation. They used to use little toy trains and wooden people to tell the story, with the narration of Mr.Conductor, who over the years has been played by a bunch of different actors (including George Carlin and Ringo Starr). I think there was even a Thomas movie with Alec Baldwin in it.
Anywho, they were VERY specific with the style of animation they wanted for this. Most of the time we weren't even allowed to raise one eyebrow higher than the other, which, when you only have a face to animate, is pretty limiting. But after a while we got pretty good at it. It was good lip sync practice!
